High Grade: Prismatic
Reflects light via man made prisms, often in a honeycomb or diamond pattern. Light reflected is more focused and can therefore travel farther.
Our onsite team ensures they are kept up to date with the latest highway legislation in order to keep your commercial fleet safe on the roads.

Chapter 8 refers to a set of regulations set by the UK Departments for Transport regarding the use of high-visibility markings on vehicles parked or operating on roads. The rear chevron design aims to enhance conspicuity and improve safety for vehicle and road users.
The guidelines state that all vehicles that are stationary on highways should be fitted with ‘conspicuity markings’ if they are stopped for the purposes of works or inspections.
These conspicuity markings consist of alternating stripes of red and yellow vinyls. The red stripes must be of retro-reflective material, designed to maximise night-time visibility, whilst the fluorescent yellow stripes are non-reflective, providing good daytime visibility and contrast to the red.
They must be on the rear of the vehicle, and should cover as much of the rear as possible without obscuring windows, vehicle lighting or registration plates.
Legally compliant chevrons help you to conform to traffic safety regulations, we offer ranges to meet any budget, including ready-to-deliver, self-fit kits or bespoke kits fitted by our experts.
Our handy and helpful members of staff are always on hand to streamline the process from inception to installation.
The best material for your rear chevron kit depends on the type of roads you’ll be driving on.
For high-speed roads (over 40mph) like highways and motorways, we recommend our high-performance prismatic kits. It’s also durable and weather-resistant, as well as having the highest visibility ensuring long-lasting performance.
For slower speeds or occasional use, you might consider engineering-grade materials that offer a more affordable option. However, keep in mind that their reflectivity is lower compared to the prismatic kit.
